Pinwheel takes your privacy seriously!
We collect no personally identifiable information about you when you use the software, services and mobile applications that we provide (collectively, “the Pinwheel Platform”) unless you provide that information to us. Unless we have your authorization or are required to do so by law or other extraordinary circumstances, we will not share with any third party the personally identifiable information that we obtain from you. By using the Pinwheel Platform, you agree that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy, and that you consent to its terms.

Changes to This Privacy Policy
Pinwheel may revise and update this Privacy Policy at any time by posting such revised Privacy Policy here. Your continued use of the Pinwheel Platform after receiving notice of any changes in this Privacy Policy will mean you accept those changes.

What is Covered– Pinwheel has special policies and procedures for the online collection, use, and disclosure of information from children under 13 years of age, whether such collection occurs at the Pinwheel Operating System or through any other interactive or online method, including mobile applications (collectively, the “Pinwheel Platform”). This Pinwheel Children’s Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes:

Platform Operators.The Pinwheel Platform is operated by Firepit, Inc. and contains third party software (apps) from certain service providers of Pinwheel including, but not limited to software developers, advertising, promotional, internet, association, and public relations service providers (collectively “Service Providers”). In this Policy, Pinwheel and its Service Providers are referred to collectively as “we” or “our.” If you have any questions regarding this Policy or any other matter in connection with the Pinwheel Platform, please contact:privacy@pinwheel.io.
Information Collection and Use
Non-Personal Information.
The servers from which we host and provide the Pinwheel Platform collect and record certain non-personal information about site visits. The non-personal information that we collect may include IP addresses, the type of operating system in use, the type of technology being used by the visitor, the number and frequency of visitors to different elements of the Pinwheel Platform, and the activity of the visitor before and after accessing the Pinwheel Platform.
Personal Information.
We do not make a child’s participation in any Pinwheel Platform site activity contingent on that child’s disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in that activity. We are parents too and our children use the Pinwheel Platform alongside yours, likely for the same reasons. We will, at minimum, need the following information to deliver the features of the Pinwheel Platform:

The Pinwheel Platform requires you to create a parental or caregiver account before your child is able to be registered with the Pinwheel Platform. We require a parent or guardian to set up an account to reasonably ensure that the individual providing the consent is an adult. Once the consent of a parent or guardian has been verified, the account allows the parent or guardian to maintain control over the child’s account. To set up a parental account, we may collect the parent’s or guardian’s first name, last name, mailing address, date of birth, gender, and e-mail address. Additionally, we will require the parent or guardian to verify his or her identity via e-mail. We may use the information collected about you and your child through the Pinwheel Platform registration to inform you about future Pinwheel product plans and features.
We allow parents or guardians) to manage their children’s personal information or preferences within the Pinwheel Platform. To manage this information and these preferences, visit your settings in your parent account on the Pinwheel Platform. In this area, parents or guardians will be able to alter permissions, access the personally identifiable information that Pinwheel has collected about their child, correct factual errors in such information, and request to have this information deleted or request that the Pinwheel Platform no longer collect, use or maintain such information. To protect the privacy and security of Pinwheel Platform members online, we will take reasonable steps to verify the identity of the parent or guardian before granting the parent or guardian access to the personal information that we collect and maintain about the parent or guardian and his or her child.
We may send service-related e-mails to Pinwheel Platform members. These may include a welcome message and other non-promotional e-mails or text messages, from which no opt-out option is provided.
Disclosure of Information.The Pinwheel Platform will transfer or otherwise disclose the information it collects from children or parents to employees and independent contractors of Pinwheel, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and Service Providers if the disclosure will enable that party to perform a business, professional, or technical support function for Pinwheel, or if required to do so by law. These entities are restricted to using this information only to provide a service on our behalf.We do not share personal information with any third party for that party’s own promotional purposes. We will also transfer or otherwise disclose personal information in response to judicial process, to comply with legal requirements, and, as permitted under provisions of law, to provide information to law enforcement agencies or to third parties in connection with an investigation on a matter related to public safety or the security of the systems used to provide the Pinwheel Platform. We may also use or disclose the information as permitted by law to protect our rights or property, the Pinwheel Platform or its users.
Security of Information.We maintain industry-standard physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access to or disclosure of your personal information.
If the Pinwheel Platform is Sold or Transferred. In the event that the Pinwheel Platform or any of its assets are acquired by a third party, personal information acquired by Pinwheel may be one of the assets transferred. In such an event, we will notify you as explained below under “Changes to this Privacy Statement”.
Third Party Platforms. To the extent that any of the third-party websites, apps, or other online services accessible through the Pinwheel Platforms has different privacy practices from those stated in this Policy, those third-party privacy practices govern the collection and use of information you provide when visiting those platforms. We are not responsible for the policies, content, and practices of third-party platforms to which the Pinwheel Platform may link and you should refer to those sites’ own privacy policies to learn how they collect and use personal information.
Changes to This Policy. By accessing the Pinwheel Platform, you are agreeing to the practices described in this Policy. On occasion, it may be necessary for us to change the terms of this Policy. We will do so by posting updated text within the Pinwheel Platform, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of those changes. If your child is not a Pinwheel Platform member, we will not materially change how we handle previously collected information without providing notice and an opportunity to choose how we use that information.
Your rights
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.
Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
Data retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
